Senior Associate – Audit Location: Cheltenham, UK
Salary: £42,000 – £46,000 + 8% annual bonus

About the Role We are seeking a Senior Associate – Audit to join an expanding team in Cheltenham. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified audit professional to deliver high-quality work, coach junior team members, and advance your career within a dynamic, inclusive, and forward-thinking firm.
Key Responsibilities
  • Client Focus: Lead audit assignments from planning through to finalisation, liaising with clients, preparing audit findings reports, and providing practical recommendations.
  • Leadership: Manage and coach junior staff, fostering a positive team culture and supporting their professional growth.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to add value to clients and contribute to the growth of the firm’s client base.
  • Technical Expertise: Apply UK GAAP knowledge and audit methodology to deliver exceptional work, managing audit risks and technical matters.
  • Advisory & Innovation: Participate in advisory projects, providing innovative solutions across audit and non-audit clients.
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to risk management policies, industry regulations, and internal standards, while suggesting process improvements.
Skills & Experience
  • ACA, ACCA, or CA qualification ( essential).
  • Significant auditing and accounting experience, ideally with UK GAAP.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proactive, client-focused, and committed to personal and professional development.
