Sales Ledger

Role: Sales Ledger Clerk
Location: Brighton
Working model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days from home
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £27,000 per annum

We're recruiting for a Sales Ledger Clerk to join a friendly and established finance team in Brighton on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with a strong eye for detail who enjoys working in a structured finance environment.
You'll play an important role in ensuring the accuracy of the sales ledger and supporting smooth financial operations across the business.


Key responsibilities will include:

  • Raising and processing sales invoices
  • Maintaining the sales ledger and customer accounts
  • Allocating incoming payments
  • Resolving invoice queries and discrepancies
  • Supporting month-end and reporting processes
This role would suit someone who:
  • Has experience in a Sales Ledger or similar finance role
  • Has strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
  • Is comfortable working to deadlines
  • Enjoys being part of a collaborative team
