Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)
Salary: £30,000-£35,000

Are you a finance professional with strong experience in sales ledger, credit control, and invoice management? A growing organisation is looking for a Sales Ledger Controller to join their team and take ownership of key financial processes.


What you'll be doing:
  • Managing the sales ledger and issuing accurate self-billing invoices
  • Ensuring timely debt collection and maintaining accurate records
  • Supporting management accounts by posting data and following up on outstanding submissions
  • Conducting supplier credit checks and helping assess financial risk
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and ensure compliance
What we're looking for:
  • Solid experience in accounting, finance, or sales ledger roles
  • Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systems
  • Confident communicator who works well cross-functionally
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently
