Recruitment Partner - Public Sector

People are the heart of what we do, in all that we do – and we’re only as good as the people we employ. So why not be part of something fabulous?
Established 28 years ago, with 5 thriving divisions (HR, Business Operations, Finance, Specialist Markets and Executive) KC Group has built a reputation for delivering excellence, integrity, and partnership. 2025 has already been an exciting year, with our recent wins on a major Education Framework and a Social Housing contract – and now we’re looking to expand our team.
We’re looking for a Public Sector Recruitment Partner to play a pivotal role in delivering these high-profile contracts, supporting organisations that make a real difference to people’s lives.

What will you be doing?
As a Recruitment Partner, you’ll work closely with public sector clients across education and housing, providing a consultative service and ensuring every placement delivers value and impact.
Your core duties will include:
  • Building strong partnerships with public sector clients, understanding workforce needs, compliance requirements, and long-term goals.
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes for temporary, contract, and permanent roles within education and social housing.
  • Developing inclusive attraction campaigns that reach diverse candidate pools and support community employment initiatives.
  • Coordinating assessment and selection processes to ensure high-quality, values-driven appointments.
  • Supporting candidates with interview preparation, CV advice, and return-to-work guidance, helping people build sustainable careers.
  • Reporting on KPIs, social value outcomes, and contract performance to both clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Acting as a brand ambassador for KC Group – championing our ethos of honesty, accountability, and collaboration.
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within the public sector or high-volume environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills – able to balance client demands with candidate care.
  • A genuine passion for making a social impact through recruitment (experience in education, housing, or community-focused roles is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset – someone who thrives in a busy, contract-led environment.

What’s in it for you?
At KC Group, we believe great people deserve great rewards. Here’s are some of our benefits:
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Holidays & Wellbeing:
  • Minimum of 23 days annual leave + bank holidays
  • An extra day off for your birthday ("holibirthday")
  • 4 wellbeing days a year
  • Health & Lifestyle Benefits:
  • Access to a Virtual GP
  • A benefits portal with hundreds of retail, shopping, and hospitality discounts
  • Incentives & Socials:
  • Monthly and quarterly incentives (including overseas trips)
  • Regular team socials with a fun, supportive culture
  • Plus, the chance to grow your own division within a well-established and trusted Midlands brand.
