KC Group is delighted to be supporting a leading Top 35 accountancy practice in their search for a Private Client Tax Senior – Advisory. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse and high-profile client base, providing complex tax planning and advisory services alongside compliance responsibilities.
The practice has built a strong reputation for technical excellence and sector expertise, with particular focus on the agricultural and landowners’ sectors. You’ll be joining an expanding team where your contribution will play a key role in supporting continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of clients including business owners, partnerships, sole traders, high net worth individuals, and their related companies or trusts, ensuring excellent client service.
- Work on a varied role with both advisory and compliance responsibilities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical accuracy and a commercial approach.
- Review income and corporation tax computations, liaising with specialists on technical matters.
- Support managers, directors, and partners on advisory projects and assist with the implementation of complex tax planning arrangements, particularly involving capital gains tax and inheritance tax.
- Manage and develop junior team members, acting as a professional role model.
- Understand technical issues and communicate them in a clear and practical way.
- ACA/ACCA and/or ATT qualified (CTA desirable).
- Client-focused, commercially aware, and proactive.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A team player with an enthusiastic and flexible approach.
- An interest in developing advisory skills and working on complex tax planning projects.
