This is a full time temporary role, based onsite Monday-Friday, and offers an hourly rate of £13.50-£14.00 per hour.
Key Information about the Maintenance Person role:
- Start Date: ASAP subject to vetting
- Working Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week Monday to Friday
- Ability to work proactively in a reactive team environment, doing a wide range of physical tasks in a large campus.
- General ability to support repairs and working with caretaking team to respond to unknown requirements from various departments.
- No specific qualifications are required for the role
- Experience of providing practical site services to a range of customers essential
- Experience of working as part of a team for specific projects and planning issues such as parking on large events
- Experience of and ability to respond to difficult or emergency situations
- Ability to maintain good professional relations with customers and contractors
- Ability to undertake and complete basic maintenance and refurbishment tasks
