Lead Advisory Manager – Corporate Finance Location: Bristol, UK
Salary: £55,000 – £62,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and driven Lead Advisory Manager to join a growing Corporate Finance team in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of transactions for small to mid-market businesses, including acquisitions, disposals, buy-side retainers, management buyouts, and raising finance for expansion. You will play a key role in managing transactions from start to finish, building client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of the advisory team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day interactions on lead advisory assignments with transaction values typically up to £30 million.
  • Oversee sales mandates from initial engagement to completion, including client relationship management and partner-led negotiations.
  • Conduct business development meetings and help develop the firm’s offering to new target markets.
  • Prepare and review business valuations and Information Memoranda.
  • Conduct financial modelling for raising finance.
  • Supervise the sales process, acting as the primary point of contact for clients and advisers, ensuring project milestones are met.
  • Advise clients on acquisition and disposal advisory mandates, including purchase price mechanics.
  • Review financial aspects of Sale and Purchase Agreements, completion accounts, and deferred/earn-out schedules.
  • Prepare funds flows and estimated balance sheets as required.
Requirements
  • ACA/ACCA/CA qualified or relevant experience in M&A and corporate finance.
  • Proven experience managing lead advisory assignments and complex transactions.
  • Strong business development and client management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
