Day Rate: £350–£450 per day
We are recruiting for a growing business in Birmingham, who require an experienced Financial Accountant on an onsite interim basis to support year-end and statutory accounts.
This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role for a qualified professional who can hit the ground running and take ownership of key finance processes.
Role Responsibilities:
- Prepare statutory accounts in line with deadlines
- Manage month-end close, journals, accruals, and provisions
- Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with audit preparation and liaise directly with auditors
- Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Identify and resolve issues quickly to meet tight deadlines
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
- Proven experience in statutory accounts and month-end close
- Strong interim or contract experience preferred
- Confident, autonomous, and delivery-focused
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Location: Birmingham (onsite)
- Duration: 3 months (with potential to extend)
- Day Rate: £350–£450 per day
