We’re recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering and manufacturing business. This is a maternity cover, fixed-term contract role and will provide an opportunity to support Aerospace, Industrial, and Supply Chain operations, acting as a trusted HR advisor while contributing to strategic initiatives.
The role:
Reporting to the General Manager, the HR Business Partner will deliver practical HR solutions across employee relations, performance, engagement, and change initiatives. The role combines hands-on HR support, compliance, and strategic collaboration with the wider HR team.
What you'll do:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment processes, including job adverts, interviews, psychometric testing, and onboarding
- Provide HR guidance to managers on employee relations, performance, and compliance matters
- Maintain accurate HR records and ensure processes are consistent and compliant
- Support absence and performance management, investigations, disciplinary actions, and grievance procedures
- Collaborate with the wider HR team across multiple UK locations
- CIPD Level 5
- Experience in manufacturing beneficial
- Strong knowledge of employment law
- Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work independently
