This is a hands-on role at the heart of the business. You’ll lead day-to-day financial operations across multiple entities, support the Finance Director, and work closely with the wider Senior Management Team. With a small finance team reporting into you, you’ll provide strategic insight, improve systems, and ensure robust financial control and reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the finance function across the group
- Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting, management accounts, and cash flow forecasting
- Support year-end accounts, audits, and statutory compliance
- Partner with SMT to drive financial performance and strategic decisions
- Develop and enhance internal controls, policies, and procedures
- Improve financial systems and reporting processes
- Mentor and manage a small, high-performing finance team
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Strong experience in group accounting, management accounts, and forecasting
- Proven ability to translate financial data into meaningful business insights
- Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP / FRS 102
- Proficient in Sage (or similar accounting systems) and advanced Excel
- Strong financial modelling skills, ideally across P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow
