KC Group are working with an industry-leading SME and part of an international group, who are looking for a Part-Time Financial Controller to bring strategic insight, financial rigour, and systems expertise to a growing, dynamic business.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives in a hands-on role, is commercially sharp, and is ready to be a trusted advisor to the Managing Director and Group CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate monthly and annual financial reports
- Manage and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Lead on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Ensure compliance with tax, audit, and statutory regulations
- Oversee ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and AP/AR
- Liaise with parent company on group reporting and intercompany transactions
- Deliver financial insight to senior leadership to support strategic decisions
- Act as the main contact for external accountants, auditors, and regulatory bodies
- Maximise the use of Sage 50 and SAP S/4HANA for financial efficiency and reporting
- Drive continuous improvements, automation, and cost-saving initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Prior experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role
- Strong experience with Sage 50 and ideally SAP S/4HANA
- SME, multi-entity, or project-based accounting experience
- Excellent technical knowledge, audit experience, and reporting capability
- A proactive, detail-driven mindset with the ability to work independently
- Excellent Excel and ERP skills, with outstanding communication
