About the Role
We're looking for a motivated Finance Assistant to join our clients team, with a focus on Sales Ledger. You'll play an important part in ensuring accurate invoicing, smooth financial processes, and strong communication across the business.
This role is ideal for someone detail-driven who enjoys working with numbers, building good relationships, and keeping everything running efficiently behind the scenes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Raising and issuing invoices, credit notes and statements.
- Checking agreements/contracts to make sure billing is accurate.
- Working closely with colleagues and managers to keep workflows on track.
- Reconciling payments and investigating discrepancies.
- Supporting the wider finance team with reporting, audits, and ad-hoc tasks.
- Handling incoming queries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience within sales ledger, invoicing or accounts receivable.
- Great attention to detail and a methodical approach.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise deadlines.
- Confident communication skills to liaise with both colleagues and external contacts.
- Experience with systems such as Sage 200 or SAP Concur (nice to have but not essential).
- A proactive, team-player mindset.
- Full time: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
- Hybrid: 3 days based in the Brighton office, 2 days working from home.
