Contract: 3 months (Temporary, Full-Time)
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00-16:00
Location: On-site, Coventry
About the role
We're looking for a proactive Finance Administrator to join a busy team on a 3-month contract. You'll handle a variety of finance and admin tasks, including raising purchase orders, using supplier portals, supporting courier bookings, and assisting with general office administration. This is a hands-on role where organisation, accuracy, and a "can-do" attitude are key.
Key responsibilities
- Raise purchase orders and support invoice matching in the finance system.
- Use supplier websites/portals to place orders and track deliveries.
- Support courier bookings via Royal Mail, Parcelforce, DHL, and track shipments.
- Maintain accurate logs, trackers, and records for finance and office admin.
- Assist with reception cover and general office administration as needed.
- Previous experience in a finance, admin, or operations role.
- Confident using online courier portals and raising purchase orders.
- Strong attention to detail and reliable record-keeping.
- Good Microsoft 365 skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams/SharePoint).
- Clear communication and a service-first attitude.
- Ability to lift/move packages safely.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Experience with finance systems (e.g., Sage, Intacct).
- Familiarity with GDPR and secure handling of personal data.
- Experience dispatching bulk mail or managing large admin projects.
