EA to CEO

Executive Assistant
£40,000 - £45,000

We are looking for an ambitious and highly organised Executive Assistant to join a busy Executive Operations team and play an important role in supporting a senior executive within a global organisation.

This is an opportunity for someone who has built a solid foundation in PA, EA, Team Assistant, or business support, and is now ready to take the next step. You will gain exposure to a high-profile executive environment, work alongside experienced colleagues and receive the guidance and mentoring needed to develop your career.

This is a great opportunity for someone who has built a strong foundation and is now ready for their next step, with the ambition to broaden their experience and develop towards a senior Executive Assistant role over time.

Key details:
Working closely with the Head of Executive Operations, helping to ensure the smooth running of a senior executive office. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing a busy and complex diary, scheduling meetings, resolving clashes and keeping priorities on track.
  • Monitoring incoming correspondence, drafting straightforward responses and escalating matters when appropriate.
  • Coordinating UK and international travel, accommodation, itineraries and expenses.
  • Supporting the preparation and collation of executive and board materials.
  • Helping organise meetings and events, coordinating venues, logistics, catering and attendees.
  • Attending meetings when required, taking notes, capturing actions and following up on agreed activity.
  • Maintaining accurate records, contacts, distribution lists and filing.
  • Handling confidential information with discretion, professionalism, and good judgement.
  • Building strong relationships with colleagues and external contacts and representing the executive office professionally.
  • Supporting the wider Executive Operations and EA teams with occasional cover and project-based work.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with 2-5 years' experience in a PA, EA, Team Assistant, Business Support or similar role.

You will ideally have:
  • Degree-level education and/or relevant professional qualifications, alongside a strong academic background.
  • Excellent organisational and diary management skills.
  • Confident Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft 365 skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities without losing attention to detail.
  • Clear, polished written and verbal communication skills.
  • The confidence and professionalism to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Good judgement and discretion when dealing with sensitive information.
  • Some experience of travel planning, meeting coordination, or logistics
  • A proactive, positive, and adaptable approach, with the ability to remain calm when priorities change.
  • A willingness to learn, take feedback and continually improve.
  • Ambition to develop your career in executive support and progress towards a senior EA role.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone with the potential and attitude to grow. You may not have done everything before, what matters is that you're organised, curious, dependable, and ready for your next challenge.

Why this role?
This isn't simply another EA position. It's an opportunity to step into a high-profile executive environment, gain valuable exposure and learn from experienced professionals around you. You will be joining a friendly, agile and fast-growing organisation where continuous improvement is part of the culture. You'll have the opportunity to make an impact from day one while developing the skills and experience that can shape your longer-term career.

The role is based in Crewe, with core hours of Monday to Friday, 8.30am-5.00pm.

Given the nature of the executive office, there will occasionally be a requirement to provide support outside these hours, so a degree of flexibility is important.

If you feel ready to move beyond traditional administration and take your next step into high-level executive support, we would love to hear from you.

If your CV is not shortlisted for this role, we will keep your details on file for future opportunities.
