Customer Service Coordinator

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Customer Service Coordinator to join a growing specialist team in supporting customers in the aerospace sector.

In this role, you will be at the heart of customer operations, ensuring a consistently high level of service while working within a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.

Key Details:

- Hybrid working 
- Permanent Contract 
- Located in Solihull (parking available)
- £32,000 - £34,000 Salary
- Flexible working hours

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the first point of contact for aerospace customer enquiries and concerns
  • Investigate and resolve customer complaints, including credits and debits
  • Prepare and respond to quotation requests accurately and within deadlines
  • Process customer orders and schedules in line with internal review procedures
  • Prioritise workload to meet customer expectations and company targets
  • Build knowledge of products and internal part numbering systems
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace guidelines and internal procedures
  • Collaborate with key account managers to support and develop customer relationships
  • Work closely with technical, quality, finance, and supply chain teams to resolve queries
  • Monitor and proactively manage customer orders to ensure on-time, right-first-time delivery
  • Support other areas of the customer service function as business needs require
  • Carry out additional duties as reasonably requested
Skills & Experience:
  • Previous experience in a customer service role (ideally within a technical or manufacturing environment)
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel (intermediate level)
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and ERP platforms (SAP preferred)
  • Comfortable working with structured procedures and workflows
  • Strong IT skills and general computer literacy
  • Secondary school education (or equivalent)
