Customer Service Assistant

KC Group are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Assistant to join our client’s team in Lanarkshire area on a 3-month temporary contract.

This is a fast-paced, office-based role where you will support customers and internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Assistant role Include:
  • Taking and processing customer orders via phone, email and app
  • Handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Managing standing orders and customer accounts
  • Communicating order updates, changes or delays
  • Liaising with Transport, Operations and Sales teams
  • Running reports and supporting team KPI targets
  • Adhering to company procedures and Health & Safety policies
To be considered for the Customer Service Assistant Role:
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
  • Team player with a proactive approach
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Must be able to drive(onsite role, not accessible by public transport)
  • Previous customer service experience desirable
Key Information about the role includes:
  • Location: Coalburn, Lanark, Lanarkshire
  • Contract: Temporary – 3 Months
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
  • Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
