This is a fast-paced, office-based role where you will support customers and internal teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities of the Customer Service Assistant role Include:
- Taking and processing customer orders via phone, email and app
- Handling customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
- Managing standing orders and customer accounts
- Communicating order updates, changes or delays
- Liaising with Transport, Operations and Sales teams
- Running reports and supporting team KPI targets
- Adhering to company procedures and Health & Safety policies
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Team player with a proactive approach
- Good problem-solving ability
- Must be able to drive(onsite role, not accessible by public transport)
- Previous customer service experience desirable
- Location: Coalburn, Lanark, Lanarkshire
- Contract: Temporary – 3 Months
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
- Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
