Location: Brighton
Working model: Hybrid - 3 days onsite / 2 days from home
Contract: 6-month fixed-term contract
Salary: £27,000 per annum (pro-rated)
We are currently recruiting for a Credit Controller to join a well-established business in Brighton on a 6-month contract. This role has been created to support the finance team during a busy period and would suit someone confident managing their own ledger in a professional, relationship-led way.
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of customer accounts, ensuring outstanding balances are followed up efficiently while maintaining positive relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a portfolio of customer accounts
- Chasing outstanding debt via phone and email
- Resolving invoice and payment queries
- Keeping customer accounts accurate and up to date
- Supporting the wider finance team during month-end
- Has previous experience in a Credit Control position
- Is confident communicating with customers and internal teams
- Is organised, reliable, and comfortable working to deadlines
- Is happy working in a hybrid environment with regular office presence
