Corporate Tax Manager M&A/deals - Cardiff

Corporate M&A Tax Manager Location: Bristol, UK
Salary: £52,000 – £60,000 per annum

Contract Type: Permanent
About the Role We are seeking a technically proficient and commercially astute Corporate M&A Tax Manager to join our expanding transactions tax team in Bristol. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex deals and advisory projects across a wide range of sectors, providing strategic tax advice to clients involved in corporate transactions.
Key Responsibilities
  • Identify key tax risks and advise on warranties, indemnities, and tax implications of sale and purchase agreements.
  • Support the delivery of tax due diligence reviews for both buy-side and vendor engagements.
  • Conduct pre-disposal tax reviews for businesses preparing for sale.
  • Advise on corporate and group reorganisations, clearly communicating complex tax matters to clients.
  • Understand and contribute to the structuring of transactions, including optimal tax planning strategies.
Requirements
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
  • Experience in UK corporation tax, capital, and employment tax within a transactions environment—or a strong interest in moving into this area.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to identify risk and pricing implications.
  • Client-focused with a commitment to quality, accuracy, and clear communication.
