KC Group is supporting a leading Top 35 accountancy practice in the search for a Corporate M&A/Deals Tax Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded tax professional to work on high-profile transactions and advisory projects across a wide range of sectors.
The practice has a nationally recognised corporate finance and M&A team, advising on numerous deals and collaborating with corporate acquirers, private equity houses, and corporate banks. You’ll join a growing team of tax specialists, helping to strengthen the firm’s offering and providing valuable insights on all aspects of corporate and business transactions.
Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key tax risks and advise on warranties, indemnities, and the tax implications of sale and purchase agreements.
  • Conduct pre-disposal tax reviews for businesses preparing for sale.
  • Advise on corporate and group reorganisations, clearly communicating complex tax matters to clients.
  • Contribute to the structuring of transactions, including optimal tax planning strategies.
  • Work closely with managers, directors, and partners to provide high-quality, commercial tax advice.
What We’re Looking For
  • ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
  • Experience in UK corporation tax, capital gains, and employment tax within a transactions environment—or a strong interest in moving into this area.
  • Commercially aware with the ability to identify tax risk and pricing implications.
  • Client-focused, with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and clear communication.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and thrive under pressure.
What’s on Offer
  • On-site parking.
  • Profit share scheme.
  • Clear progression structure.
  • 28 days annual leave (plus option to purchase up to 30 days).
  • Life assurance – 6x annual salary.
  • Health & wellbeing benefits including discounted gym membership, online GP access, mental health support, and more.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave.
  • Hybrid and flexible working options.
  • Regular firm-wide and team social events.
If you’re looking for a role where you can make a real impact, work on high-profile corporate deals, and be part of a collaborative and forward-thinking team, KC Group would love to hear from you.
