KC Group is supporting a leading Top 35 accountancy practice in the search for a Corporate M&A/Deals Tax Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded tax professional to work on high-profile transactions and advisory projects across a wide range of sectors.
The practice has a nationally recognised corporate finance and M&A team, advising on numerous deals and collaborating with corporate acquirers, private equity houses, and corporate banks. You’ll join a growing team of tax specialists, helping to strengthen the firm’s offering and providing valuable insights on all aspects of corporate and business transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-ordinate, develop, and deliver tax due diligence reviews on target businesses for buy-side or vendor engagements.
- Identify key tax risks and advise on warranties, indemnities, and the tax implications of sale and purchase agreements.
- Conduct pre-disposal tax reviews for businesses preparing for sale.
- Advise on corporate and group reorganisations, clearly communicating complex tax matters to clients.
- Contribute to the structuring of transactions, including optimal tax planning strategies.
- Work closely with managers, directors, and partners to provide high-quality, commercial tax advice.
- ACA, ACCA, or CTA qualified.
- Experience in UK corporation tax, capital gains, and employment tax within a transactions environment—or a strong interest in moving into this area.
- Commercially aware with the ability to identify tax risk and pricing implications.
- Client-focused, with strong commitment to quality, accuracy, and clear communication.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical matters clearly.
