Location: Exeter / Hybrid Working Available

Are you a commercially-minded finance professional with a strong background in Corporate Finance? We're working with a well-established and expanding Top 50+50 accountancy practice in the South West who are looking to appoint a Corporate Finance Manager to join their high-performing and collaborative team based in Exeter.
 
This is a rare opportunity to play a key role in a growing service line, working closely with highly experienced individuals on a broad range of corporate finance projects across the SME space – including M&A, management buy-outs/ins, business sales, valuations, and due diligence.
We are also open to candidates from a Transaction Services background and exceptional Audit professionals looking to move into Corporate Finance.
 
What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Lead and support a range of transactions including business acquisitions, disposals, MBOs/MBIs, and mergers
  • Conduct company valuations using recognised methodologies such as multiples analysis
  • Manage and review financial due diligence work and associated reporting
  • Liaise with clients, internal teams and external professionals to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Prepare and review key documentation including engagement letters and deal reports
  • Contribute to business development activity including deal origination, client pitches and networking
  • Take a lead role in managing delivery of projects alongside directors and partners
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure an excellent, joined-up service for clients
 
What We’re Looking For:
  • ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Relevant experience in Corporate Finance, ideally with a focus on SMEs
  • Commercially astute with excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Proactive and motivated with a strong appetite for career development
  • Confident, organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • A team player who can also work independently and take ownership of outcomes
