The Role
As a Corporate Audit Manager, you'll lead on a varied portfolio of audits - from planning through to completion - ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client relationships. You'll act as a trusted advisor, provide proactive business insight, and take ownership of client service. Key Responsibilities
- Manage audits from planning, fieldwork and completion within agreed budgets.
- Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
- Supervise and develop junior team members, providing training, support and constructive feedback.
- Research technical issues and present practical solutions.
- Oversee engagement timelines, work in progress and billing processes.
- Prepare and present planning and completion reports to senior stakeholders, Audit Committees and Boards.
- Support in developing the team and contributing to wider business growth.
- ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent qualified.
- Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to provide proactive business advice.
- Experience with complex groups, reporting structures and liaising with component auditors (desirable).
