We're supporting a leading national practice in their search for a Corporate Audit Manager to join their Manchester office. With an exciting pipeline of new business and ambitious growth plans, this is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base and play a key role in shaping the success of the team.
The Role
 
As a Corporate Audit Manager, you'll lead on a varied portfolio of audits - from planning through to completion - ensuring high-quality delivery and strong client relationships. You'll act as a trusted advisor, provide proactive business insight, and take ownership of client service. This is a role offering genuine progression opportunities, where your technical expertise and leadership skills will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audits from planning, fieldwork and completion within agreed budgets.
  • Act as the main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong and trusted relationships.
  • Supervise and develop junior team members, providing training, support and constructive feedback.
  • Research technical issues and present practical solutions.
  • Oversee engagement timelines, work in progress and billing processes.
  • Prepare and present planning and completion reports to senior stakeholders, Audit Committees and Boards.
  • Support in developing the team and contributing to wider business growth.
About You
  • ACA, ACCA, ICAS or equivalent qualified.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and accounting standards.
  • Commercial awareness and the ability to provide proactive business advice.
  • Experience with complex groups, reporting structures and liaising with component auditors (desirable).
  • A natural leader who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys developing others.
