As Client Accounting Manager, you'll take responsibility for a mixed portfolio of clients, providing high-quality accounting, tax and commercial advice.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the preparation and completion of annual accounts and business tax computations for a varied client portfolio.
- Providing advice on annual remuneration planning and profit forecasts.
- Advising clients on capital taxes and reviewing VAT returns.
- Building and maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
- Identifying opportunities to add value through tax planning and wider commercial advice.
- Supporting clients with their broader business objectives and helping them achieve their goals.
- Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team, helping them develop their skills and careers.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who combines strong technical accountancy skills with a genuine interest in working with rural and agricultural businesses. You'll ideally have:
- ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with clients in the agricultural and rural business sector.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to develop lasting client relationships.
- A commercial mindset and the confidence to identify opportunities to add value.
- Sound working knowledge of Excel, Xero and Sage.
