About the Role
We are seeking an Audit Senior to join a busy and growing team in Peterborough. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recently qualified or experienced auditor to take ownership of their own client portfolio, deliver high-quality audit work, and develop professionally within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Take ownership of a client portfolio with guidance from your manager.
- Perform and oversee audit fieldwork, including substantive and analytical procedures, typically on client premises.
- Plan and complete audit assignments while ensuring audit files are accurate, complete, and compliant.
- Prepare statutory financial statements from client data, highlighting key risk areas and issues to the Partner/Manager.
- Plan the execution and finalisation of audit assignments for Partner/Manager review.
- Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Support the team in achieving revenue and profitability targets.
- ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent qualified.
- Strong working knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS.
- Experience auditing clients across a variety of industries.
- Experience supervising and coaching junior staff.
