About the Role
We are seeking an Audit Associate / Assistant to join a growing audit team in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified or aspiring accountant to gain hands-on experience in audit and accounts while developing technical skills and professional qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements for limited companies, LLPs, and charities from trial balance stage.
- Support statutory audits and help ensure a smooth audit process for clients.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet deadlines and manage client projects efficiently.
- Assist with basic compliance tasks and prepare computations for review by senior staff.
- Develop project management and time management skills by working within your chargeable time budget.
- Build strong working relationships across the team and with clients.
- Currently studying or planning to enrol on a relevant accountancy qualification (AAT, ACA, or ACCA).
- Enthusiasm to learn and develop technical knowledge in audit and accounts.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
