Audit Associate

Audit Associate (Part-Qualified) Location: Bristol, UK
Salary: £32,000 – £42,000 per annum

About the Role We are seeking a part-qualified Audit Associate to join a growing audit team in Bristol. This is an excellent opportunity to gain responsibility for a diverse portfolio of clients, deliver high-quality audits, and develop your career in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Control the planning and fieldwork for a portfolio of audit clients.
  • Deliver fully compliant financial statements of the highest quality.
  • Identify areas of risk within client businesses and define appropriate audit approaches.
  • Review the work of team members to ensure audit objectives are met.
  • Assist in the management, motivation, mentoring, and development of junior team members.
  • Use knowledge of clients to anticipate and address complex and challenging issues.
  • Maintain awareness of developments in auditing standards and embrace new technologies, including paperless audit software and AI tools.
Skills & Experience
  • ACA/ACCA part-qualified.
  • Understanding of both the bigger picture and individual account balances.
  • Strong supervisory skills, including coaching and motivation of junior staff.
  • Excellent project management, decision-making, analytical, time management, organisational, evaluative, and administrative skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
