About the Role We are recruiting for an Associate – Corporate Audit to join an expanding team in Cheltenham. Key Responsibilities
- Audit Delivery: Take responsibility for the planning, execution, and finalisation of audit assignments, ensuring accuracy and compliance with UK GAAP.
- Client Management: Act as a day-to-day point of contact for clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills and professionalism.
- Team Support & Coaching: Oversee and support junior staff, providing on-the-job training and guidance.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify and manage audit risks, applying relevant legal, regulatory, and business rules.
- Business Development: Identify potential opportunities to add value to clients and contribute to the growth of the practice.
- Continuous Improvement: Produce high-quality work and help clients improve business processes where appropriate.
- ACA/ACCA qualified or studying towards qualification ( essential).
- Previous experience in auditing and accounting, ideally with corporate clients and UK GAAP knowledge.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with CaseWare is desirable.
