Mark Higgs

I’m a Director at KC Group in Solihull, where I oversee our Finance, HR, and Specialist Markets divisions. Our expert team recruits across the full spectrum of roles within these functions — from entry-level through to senior and executive appointments.

I began my career in financial services before moving into recruitment, where I’ve spent over 10 years specialising in finance recruitment. Today, I personally focus on senior post-qualified and executive-level finance appointments, partnering with a wide network of high-growth SMEs, FTSE-listed companies, and PE/VC-backed organisations. Beyond recruitment, I support clients with strategic initiatives such as succession planning, market mapping, competitor analysis, and salary benchmarking — helping them make confident, informed decisions.

What I enjoy most about recruitment is the opportunity to build and grow teams — both for my clients and internally. I’m passionate about mentoring and coaching consultants, developing future leaders, and supporting people in achieving their goals. I also get genuine satisfaction from securing moves for my candidates that have a lasting impact, both on individuals and the businesses they join.

I enjoy spending time with friends and family, football, travelling, discovering new places, and getting outdoors with my two dogs, Rio and Chase.
